We got spanked hard by 'Melissa'. Thankfully we were fortunate to have no casualties or debilitating structural damage, but there was quite a lot of superficial damage.

Punishing winds and torrential rain combined with salt and sand spray wreaked havoc on pretty much everything. Scraping off roofing, blasting paint, ripping off gutters, drains, screens and relocating anything not ridiculously lashed or bolted down.

The bush, landscaping and especially trees took a brutal pounding. Shrubs and trees stripped of leaves and branches. All of the coconut palms on the property were uprooted, keeled or snapped. Time will tell if our feeble remediation efforts will save any.

  We shall endeavor to persevere. 

And. . . A little banged up, but almost back to normal. Definitely ready for a sippy and some beach time. Woohoo!
